CODAH is hosting a one-day symposium on current issues in digital humanities and digital culture in the context of the next major development in digital media – extended reality and the ‘metaverse’. The first part of this symposium will consist of six provocations on digital culture from colleagues in CODAH. These 15-minute impact talks will offer us an insight into key ideas, issues and debates in digital culture today. The roundtable discussion will contextualise these in terms of the metaverse. The aim of this event is to facilitate an understanding of current issues in digital culture and research knowledge, innovation, and collaboration. By bringing us together to think about and discuss these issues, we hope that colleagues can develop new research ideas and links with other colleagues in CODAH and beyond.

This is a chance to support colleagues in their research, develop an awareness of contemporary issues and develop links with other researchers in the centre.
